In her new BBC documentary, Natalie goes back to college to study health and social care, something her character Sonia would relate to.

Entitled Natalie Cassidy: Learning to Care, the series consists of 12 episodes. Each episode lasts 30 minutes and will be broadcast on BBC One. It will also be viewable on iPlayer. The training claims to offer an emotional and personal understanding of caring.

Natalie claims that she is happy to return to college and is eager for others to see what she has been up to. She revealed that she has always been a carer. She spent years seeing her mum care for her nan, and now she’s looking after her dad.
