The close bond between Bradley Walsh and his son Barney is undeniable, much to the delight of their fans.
Bradley, 60, a beloved television presenter, has graced various shows over the years, including the popular ITV game show The Chase.
His journey in television began with hosting The Wheel Of Fortune in 1997, followed by a stint on Coronation Street as Danny Baldwin from 2004 to 2006.
However, it’s through Breaking dad that viewers have been given a peek into Bradley’s personal life, thanks to his son Barney.
The series, a coming-of-age road trip, features Bradley and Barney exploring the globe in an RV, undertaking challenges such as centrifuge training and snow rallying.
Fans are thrilled as the pair are set to return for the sixth series of their hit ITV show. The upcoming series will see the father-son duo embark on another grand adventure in Asia, experiencing the sights and tastes of Japan and Thailand.
Barney is quickly gaining popularity, much like his famous father. He previously had a recurring role on The Larkins as PC Harness, and in 2023, he joined the cast of Casualty as Cameron Mickelthwaite.
He has also collaborated with his dad for a second series, co-presenting the reboot of Gladiators. Discussing their unique relationship on This Morning, Bradley Walsh once said: “He has always been my son, and you always take care of them. But then all of a sudden he becomes your equal and a work colleague, and a mate, and someone you respect.
“Now I look up to him. Barney, bless him, was directing me on some of the things ‘Dad don’t worry about this, you need to be thinking about this’, and actually producing me.”
Barney holds the distinction of being Bradley and his choreographer wife Donna Derby’s only child together, while he also has a half-sister named Hayley from one of Bradley’s earlier relationships.
When not on-screen with his father, Barney pursues his career as a successful presenter and actor.
His acting chops were honed at the esteemed Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where Barney trained in performing arts.
