The weight of Theo’s world is literally crushing down on him this week as he fights for his life. Will he survive? And will Gage pay for his crimes?
In a tense week of Home And Away, Sonny (Ryan Bown) races against the clock trying to save Theo (Matt Evans), who has been strapped underneath a hydraulic lift and left to die as his own car crushes on top of him.

It was a horrific act of revenge by Gage (Tom Wilson) after he discovered his girlfriend, Lacey (Sophea Pennington), was cheating on him with Theo. Despite pleas from Sonny, neither of them could resist the other. Now, Theo’s in grave peril.
“Sonny and Theo started to go back and forth with different opinions and their relationship suffered,” Matt says of the mates’ disagreement over his character’s affair with Lacey.
Lacey, kidnapped and forced to watch Theo suffer, slyly texts Sonny, who races to find them. It almost looks like he’ll save the day, but is swiftly met with flying fists from the River Boys crew, leaving him badly beaten and barely conscious.
As the gang flees the scene, forcing Lacey to go with them, Sonny writhes in pain trying to get to his friend.

“He hears Theo yelling out and tries to locate where it’s all happening,” Matt explains.
Sonny scrambles to the remote control, stopping the lift with a deafening thud. But Theo isn’t breathing…
Later, at the hospital, Bree (Juliet Godwin) is called into an emergency case and is stunned to see Theo. With bleeding around his heart, it’s all hands on deck for emergency surgery.
Policeman Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) arrives seeking answers, determined to put Gage behind bars. Meanwhile, Justin (James Stewart) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou) face the reality that these could be Theo’s final moments.

“He’s not out of the woods,” Matt says. “He suffers very serious injuries that are concerning and develop further complications.”
Cash continues his investigation and calls Gage and his cronies into the police station for questioning – they happily comply, confident there’s no proof. While Gage can’t be shaken, Lacey is clearly on edge. Will she turn on Gage or stay loyal out of fear?
Last Week on Home and Away:
Theo arrives at the garage unaware that Gage knows his secret. The River Boys surround him as Lacey, held down in a chair, watches on helplessly.
“Theo doesn’t realise the danger he’s in until it’s too late,” Matt tells TV WEEK. “Gage certainly has a trick up his sleeve Theo isn’t prepared for.”
Gage plays coy about what he knows and Lacey urges her boyfriend not to do anything stupid – that’s when he coldly reveals he knows all about the affair.

“Lacey never wants to look like she needs to be protected but she definitely feels the danger of Gage finding out,” Matt explains.
Theo tries to run, but the men swarm, dragging him underneath a hydraulic lift that is holding up his own car. Strapped down with nowhere to go, Theo pleads for mercy.
On the sly, Lacey texts Sonny, who races to find help. When Cash doesn’t answer his calls, Sonny heads off to find Theo and Lacey on his own. At the garage, Gage enacts his sinister plot and begins to lower the lift.
The full weight of the car hits Theo – just as Sonny arrives. But his rescue is short-lived when the River Boy gang hold him back in a merciless beating.
