As Easter arrives in Walford, the residents are busy preparing for the egg hunt. Nigel, however, is less excited than the others as he feels overwhelmed by Phil’s protectiveness over him. So, when Yolande asks him to dress up as the Easter bunny, the café worker jumps at the chance to prove himself.
On the Square, Nigel delights the locals with his bunny costume, but events take a turn when he mistakes Hope for Clare.
As Nigel locks horns with Harvey, will he regret his outing?
2. Teddy reveals all

With his business deal under way, Teddy tries to answer a call from Junior in private. Unfortunately for him, Nicola overhears the conversation and forces her ex-husband to divulge his plans.
Thereafter, Nicola tries and fails to stop Teddy from going through with the risky arrangement. Unfazed, Teddy pushes forward and recruits Ross to work with him.
Later, Nicola turns up to show her support, but she’s left stunned when she hears that the location of the site is exactly where Shireen’s body is buried.
Elsewhere, Zack feels let down when Barney rejects his offer to help him with Tommy and Joel.
3. Avani bonds with Barney

With Avani’s best interests in mind, Priya urges her daughter to spend some quality time with her friends. As a result, Avani sends out a few texts, but it becomes clear that her peers are avoiding her.
Later, while at McKlunky’s, Priya convinces her youngest to have lunch with Barney. Before long, the thoughtful deed pays off and the two teenagers agree to put the past behind them.
4. Phil makes a discovery

Following Nigel’s public slip up, Jean, Harvey and Ian pull Phil aside to question him about his friend’s health. Under pressure, the Walford tough man drops his guard and explains that Nigel has been diagnosed with dementia.
Subsequently, Phil unintentionally discovers that Nigel wants to end his own life if his memory continues to worsen. How will Phil deal with the painful news?
5. Kojo lands a job

Having received news about The Vic, Kojo isn’t happy about the idea of moving back home and reveals that he wants to live on his own.
Afterwards, George makes it known that he’s unconvinced by the idea, which provokes his eldest daughter to try and talk him around.
However, Gina’s efforts fail to pay off, and Kojo grows even more determined to prove his independence. With that in mind, the car lover secures himself a trial shift with Harry at The Arches.
When the day arrives, Kojo excitedly prepares himself to prove his talents, and later wins a permanent job at the garage – plus an invite to Nicola’s birthday celebrations.
Elsewhere, Barney stresses out when Avani accept his offer to attend his mum’s party.
6. Linda offers support

Having found out about Phil’s discovery, Nigel tries to explain the reasoning behind his heartbreaking decision. However, Phil finds it too much to bear and makes a swift exit from his house.
Later, Jean visits No 55 to offer her support to Nigel. The pair share an honest conversation, but Nigel decides to keep Phil’s findings to himself.
Meanwhile, Phil finds his own source of comfort in Linda, as she urges her friend to stick by Nigel throughout his diagnosis.
With a new optimistic outlook, the Mitchell man returns home to make amends with his old pal, but he is stunned to find a goodbye letter instead.
As Nigel makes to leave Walford, how will Phil respond to the worrying development?
7. Nicola devises an offer

With Teddy’s project up and running, Nicola is sent into a spin when she hears that construction at the site is due to begin.
Panicked, the bar owner summons Benji, her criminal accomplice, to Harry’s Barn. Following their interaction, Nicola turns to Ravi and explains that she has a job for him.
Later in the week, Teddy, Harry and Barney go to great effort to celebrate Nicola’s birthday. Albeit, the mum-of-two is clearly unable to let hair down and enjoy the party.
With her mind whirring, Nicola later summons Ravi to Walford East, and offers him £10k to complete a job for her.
The bar owner then takes a trip to The Arches, where she lies to Harry to secure a customer’s van for the mysterious job in question.
Will Ravi go ahead with her dangerous scheme?
8. Yolande lends a shoulder

While on the hunt for Nigel, Phil becomes even more panicked when both Yolande and Jean confirm that they haven’t seen him recently.
Luckily, Linda offers to help the search and continues to support Phil once he and his best mate finally make amends.
After Nigel agrees to return home, he breaks down and talks through his desire to end his life before his dementia takes hold. Devastated, Phil tries and fails to talk Nigel out of his decision.
Later, Yolande leaves Phil with some food for thought, and he soon comes up with a plan of action. While the exact details of the plan are still under wraps, Nigel is left feeling overwhelmed when Phil tells Kathy that his friend is no longer able to work at the café. Has he made the right call?
