Trainee paramedic Indie gets ready to start her third-year placement at Holby. But before her shift starts, she ends up lying to Jan about passing one of her university modules.

Indie tags along with Iain and Teddy, who are responding to a drive-by shooting. They get stuck in traffic, but Indie is keen to impress so she gets out and moves an awkwardly parked van, allowing the ambulance to move through.

After Luka recently lashed out at Faith, tensions continue to rise at home, and a heated conversation results in him trapping his mum’s hand in a cupboard door. As she nurses her injury at work, Faith spots her friend Astrid – and is concerned that she is using drugs again.

Siobhan notices Faith’s hand and when she continues to ask questions, she eventually admits the truth. Siobhan advises Faith to speak to her son, but will she and Luka be able to make amends?

3. Jodie is conflicted

On the day of Rhea’s funeral, Aaron arrives at the ED with baby Elsie, who is refusing to eat. As Jodie heads to see to them, Siobhan reminds her that she needs to brush up on the hospital’s code of conduct, following the controversy about her social media video.

Jodie finds that Elsie has a tongue tie, and though it isn’t protocol, Jodie reluctantly agrees to do the procedure in the ED. Aaron then invites Jodie and Dylan to Rhea’s funeral, though Dylan quickly declines the offer on behalf of them both and urges Jodie not to get involved. But will she be able to stay away?
